Barcelona has something for everyone. One of the main attractions in Barcelona is its amazing architecture. Explore The Park Güell which is a public park system composed of gardens and architectural elements located on Carmel Hill. You can also visit The Sagrada Família, a large unfinished Roman Catholic minor basilica in the Eixample district.

You can also take a day to visit La Boqueria, a large public market in the Ciudad Vieja district with an entrance from La Rambla. This is a big attraction for visitors. This extends into the waterfront. The beach is also a great and easy option for fun and relaxation on your trip.

When to visit:

No matter what time you choose to visit, Barcelona will be busy as it is the most visited city in Spain however, the best time to visit is from May-June as the climate is most appealing in these months. There is a lot to do like attend the festivals that occur in these months. The summer is a good time if you enjoy hot weather. In the fall, the temperature lowers again back around the 70’s. Winter in Barcelona is mild with cool temperatures around the mid 50’s and spring is rainy. Barcelona is great year round, and will provide you with so many great experiences.
